Hi, great forum/community. Visited many times, learned alot.
I haven't found a solutions to my topic, so, if it is already here somewhere, please point it out to me
)
I would like to load specific tracks to a specific PGM#, but the user manual isn't really clear (as I have found out and so have many others that I have seen on this forum and elsewhere) if and how it's possible.
Basically it's like this. I have backed up a particular song. Now have recorded new tracks to the original PGM in the Fostex which isn't on the backup. I am afraid of loading the original tracks (which were the drums btw and it took us 10hrs to get the micing and placement) back into the original PGM because I am afraid that I can lose the new tracks which we have recorded (and I can't find anything in this crazy manual if it is possible)
Now, which leads me to another question, copy and paste: Why isn't it so simple as 'copy' this and 'paste' it somewhere? Regardless of Track# or PGM. Again, I don't see this in the user manual. Or am I just out of my head? Basically, why not copy Track#1 from PGM 0065 and put it to Track#7 to PGM 0085? If anyone knows how to do this, it would be cool. Cut, copy and Paste on this machine isn't very friendly to me
(
1 more thing, I did a back up of a PGM, but it left out some tracks.
I have all the instrument tracks, but I have tracks that I didn't even record on. (I recorded on Tracks# 1-8, 15 and 16click)
But:
-I am missing the click track (#16)
-I have files for Track# 9 & 10 (which I definately didn't record on)
Anyone have this prob? Or am I missing a step or something?
Like this machine, but losing my mind with this manual and ill-logical continuity...
Any help and advice is greatly appreciated
