I read a similar post from a while back, i have the same problem.
Just turned on my VF-16 and it seems to have 'frozen'! The LCD screen is on and just displays ABS= 00m 00s and the tempo chart below (no pgm is illustrated). The only other sign of life is the STOP button which is illuminated. It does not respond when I press any button (normally I press PGM SEL initially to find whatever I am working on).
Any ideas, I would really like to recover this thing so I don't lose all the information on my drive. Although I have done a decent amount of recording, I am by no means a "computer person" when it comes to technical issues, so i would probably be better getting any information in dummy terms. Thanks in advance!!!
