Do you "ping-pong" one track at a time. after using the VF 160 for a while, I've started looking at the Behringer ADA 8000. Seems it works ok, at least by judging from previous posts.

One question - has anyone tried running it backwards, i.e. bringing out track 9-16, for mixing on an analogue desk?
The reasons for wanting to do so are

1) the desk has a better Eq + better control over aux returns

I'll be making a recording with a Korg Electribe Es1, and my Fostex vf-16. I am having a problem in that I don't have enough outputs to separate everything I wish to have separate. I was curious if it's possible using the midi track of the fostex to sync the korg. There's an English word that I don't how to spell; something RIALS me. That's how it's pronounced, but I don't know how it's spelled, and therefore cannot look it up in a dictionary. Does anyone of you English speaking people know what the word is, and know the spelling? I need to know for a song.

Is the FDMS for SCSI drives only, and not available on CD-R? I burned a backup in FDMS format on cd, or so I thought...It took just as long as burning wav files.
