calibrating, their KBs and vocal efx units will have radically hotter signal levels (funny how they never seem to get lower).  Of course, on the VF, once I see
those peak lights starting to peg, I start thinking of the word &quot;Fried!&quot;, especially when the trim pot is all the way down.  What can you do at that

			<description><![CDATA[ This one&#39;s a hoot!  It&#39;s the V63M with a (9V) battery and/or PhantomPower option at $40 less than the PhantomPower-only version!  This V63 is not a bad
sounding condensor at all.  It&#39;s not overly bright and at $40, it&#39;s really hard to beat, especially with the added battery v. phantom option.

			<description><![CDATA[ Want to add two-way USB audio and optical/TOSlink S/PDIF output to the RCA tape I/O of your mixer for $30?  Try a Behringer UCA202.  Note that I said RCA tape I/O---that's the signal level it's designed for and there are no gain adjustments on the unit.  Also, it is powered via USB, so as a stand-alone S/PDIF audio-S/PDIF converter, a DIY power source would be required.<br><br>It also works well for transferring audio via the monitor/tape outputs of your home sound system.<br><br><!--EZCODE... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Just a few neat studio additions I thought I'd add:<br><br>I bought a drafting table at Target as my recording console/desk.  The height is adjustable, the table tilts (to facilitate screen viewing and fader ergonomics), has a shelf underneath (perfect for headphone amp location) and a small drawer on the right.  There is a sturdy bar at the bottom edge which keeps my VF160's from sliding off the tilted table, and it's low enough that the cd trays can still open normally. 			<description><![CDATA[ I currently am using a set of Cerwin Vega Speakers, I think they are bookshelf speakers, I'm not sure, I pulled them out the back of a 1981 Toyota Corolla, but they sounded great in there and they're better than the Pioneer house speakers... My next investment will be into some near-field active studio monitors.  I am am lost in the recent flood of them, and was hoping I could get a little input.
